Why do we as church leaders avoid confronting the demons who operate in our church? Please note, I'm not talking about people here, but unclean spirits that operate! (See Eph 6:12; For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.)
If we do not see or sense them, why not? And if we do, why do we not cast them down?
This series is called Apologies of a Church Leader and Phil is going to be brutally honest in apologising for a range of things. Holding nothing back, he will apologise for the way he (and other leaders) act in ways that is detrimental to the church.
This is not done in criticism or cynicism, but with the hope that together we can all work in partnership to make the local church stronger.
